More than 40 children and young people actively participated in the Closing of the Medical Duarte Sports School.
During the dynamic day, the soccer teams played and received recognition for their active participation throughout 2022.
With this initiative, the Medical Duarte Foundation seeks to provide permanent support to young people who are part of the school, in order to strengthen their development processes in the personal and sporting fields.
Likewise, they are guided in different activities related to mental health care, teamwork, resilience and prevention of psychoactive substance use.
“During the school year, the FMD accompanied the students of the Pedro Cuadro Herrera schools in Cúcuta and Mario Pezzotti schools in Los Patios, with psycho-educational and orientation activities for the prevention of Psychosocial Risks that lead to SPA consumption. ”concluded Martín Carrillo Vargas, leading member of the school.
